Kilimanjaro is a lovely cafe serving fresh and tasty breakfasts, sandwiches, toasties, pizzas, hamburgers, and salads. Sit on the outdoor terrace with a coffee and a biscuit, or enjoy a milkshake to cool off on a hot day. Kilimanjaro also has a take-one-leave-one book exchange, so you can read a book as you enjoy your drinks, as well as free wifi. The cafe is centrally located near Vilankulo's two supermarkets and near an ATM and bank and is easy to reach from the town's lodges.
The Sand Dollar Restaurant
This is Archipelago Resort's restaurant, located 10kms out of the town of Vilankulo. With a large pool and bar area, the restaurant is set looking out over the sea, making it the ideal place to have a meal watching the dhows drift past or a drink watching the sunset.
After a dive with Diversity Scuba, stroll to the upstairs cafe for a fruit smoothie, freshly baked cake, or a cup of the best coffee in town. Upstairs @Diversity serves hot and cold drinks, meals (salad, sandwiches, breakfast rolls, and more), juices, beer, and more. The cakes are known throughout Tofo and are freshly baked every night with vegan options as well. The cafe is located on the upper deck of the dive center and is a great place to relax after a dive or swim, or even after a walk through Tofo.
The Coehler Restaurant
Located in the Dona Ana Hotel, The Cohler restaurant is notable for its exceptional cuisine, showcasing the best of Portuguese and African delicacies expertly made by the in-house chef. Serving all meals throughout the day, their menu is also child-friendly. It is right on the port, offering beautiful sea views to enjoy during your meal. The restaurant caters to children as well, making it a family-friendly place to eat.
