Description

Begin with a hotel pick-up at 8:00 AM from Tofo or Barra Beach and transfer to White Sands to board a traditional Dhow. Sail through the Indian Ocean to Pansy Island for snorkeling among seahorses and other marine species, collecting shells along the way.

After snorkeling, continue to Pig Island for a traditional lunch featuring local dishes. Post-lunch, tour the island to meet the chief and visit community landmarks including the school, clinic, and churches. Refresh with fresh coconut water before returning to the mainland by boat.

• Pig Island is about 11 meters at its highest point and mostly 1 meter above sea level, with approximately 800 residents.
