Guest Houses Self Catering The lodge is about 500kms north of Maputo and is accessible via a tarred road suitable for normal vehicles. The road from Maputo to Inhambane has been upgraded and resurfaced. The drive from Maputo takes about 8 hours.

Makolo Bay is surrounded by sea, with unspoiled beaches on one side and the Inhambane Estuary on the other,  making it the ideal place for a beach holiday.
All the rooms have a sea-view.  
There are multiple houses, each sleeping between 4 and 11 people at varying prices; there will be something for everyone. Each has a self-catering kitchen area, mosquito nets, linens, a braai, swimming pool, fans, and cooking utensils. 
There is also a bar/restaurant called Charlie's Pub, with fresh seafood and a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. 
This is a wonderful place to stay for families and groups of friends looking for a serene beach holiday.
