Tour Description
The tour begins with a 06:30 hotel pickup in Maputo. You will drive past the Maputo-Katembe bridge en route to Maputo National Park, arriving at the park entrance by 07:30.
At 08:00, the safari starts with a guided drive through the park to spot animals such as elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and various antelopes. You will also visit natural lakes renowned for abundant birdlife.
A break is scheduled at 10:00 near one of the lakes where crocodiles and hippos can often be observed. During this stop, snacks, fruits, soft drinks, tea, and coffee are served.
The safari continues at 11:00, focusing on the park’s diverse flora and fauna with insights provided by professional guides.
The tour concludes with an exit from the park around 13:00, followed by a return drive to Maputo, arriving around 15:00 for drop-off at your chosen location.
