Description
Depart from Maputo and travel to Kruger National Park's southern entrance. Cross the border at Ressano Garcia into Komatipoort, South Africa, where immigration procedures are completed.
Arrive at Crocodile Bridge Gate and meet your guide for a safari game drive. Kruger National Park hosts abundant wildlife including elephants, rhinos, lions, buffalos, leopards, zebras, giraffes, hippos, various antelope species, and exotic birds.
You may select either a morning safari or a full-day safari. Morning tours begin early to maximize animal sightings. Full-day tours include multiple stops at viewpoints, rivers, and waterholes favored by wildlife.
Your guide will share insights into animal behavior, local ecosystems, and park conservation. The park’s landscape varies from open savannahs to forested areas and river environments.
Enjoy lunch at a rest camp such as Lower Sabie or Skukuza, where meals are served with views of the surrounding wildlife. Elephants, crocodiles, or hippos may be visible near water bodies during lunch.
After the safari, return to Maputo in the late afternoon, crossing the border back into Mozambique and concluding the experience.
