Your day begins before sunrise around 05:30–06:00 as you leave Maputo and travel approximately 2.5 hours to Eswatini via the Namaacha border. Enjoy snacks and drinks on the journey while watching the landscape transform.

Upon arrival at Hlane Royal National Park, you may see hippos at the water’s edge and spot giraffes, rhinos, and other wildlife near the lake. The safari starts with a guided tour through open plains and bushveld, where you could encounter up to four of the Big 5 animals in this relaxed, family-friendly environment.

After the safari, a lunch break takes place at the park’s restaurant, surrounded by natural scenery. Following lunch, free time allows you to visit souvenir shops, take photos, or observe animals from the lake area.

The return trip begins around 14:00–15:00 with a stop at Namaacha waterfalls to enjoy fresh air, flowing water, and scenic views before heading back to Maputo, arriving around 17:00.
