Description

Start your adventure with a convenient pickup from your hotel or house in Maputo, on a 4x4 SUV vehicle. Drive approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, stopping to visit the Chinese cement factory in Bela Vista. After passing through Salamanga, arrive at the park gate at 7:30 AM. After paying the fees, begin the safari at 8:00 AM, starting with the wildlife route. At 9:30 AM, take a break for a half-hour picnic, and at 10:00 AM, resume the safari along the forest and wetlands route. Make a detour to visit the hippopotamus sanctuary, and after the sanctuary, go directly to the lodge located on Membene Beach. At 2:30 PM, have lunch from the delicious menu of the beach restaurant. After lunch, enjoy free time to relax. At 4:30 PM, take a short walk to the lake closest to the lodge to see hippopotamus and a fantastic sunset. Dinner is served from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and breakfast from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Accommodation will be in chalets or safari tents. The following day, have lunch at 12:30 PM and leave the lodge at 1:30 PM. Go on a safari along the loop route and head to the main exit route of the park. At 5:00 PM, leave the park and return to Maputo.
