The National Company of Song & Dance is Mozambique's national dance company and puts on performances well worth attending in Maputo, Mozambique's capital city. This is an amazing cultural experience. The dancers are known for their bright attire and strong energy, making their performances amazing to watch.
The dance company has 50 members, led by street dancer/choreographer David Abilio, and put on about 300 performances per year. The company is one of Mozambique's first government-funded cultural organizations after the country's independence, in 1975.
