Guest Houses The Lodge offers 14 self-lavish chalets that give guests privacy, peace and comfort. Each chalet has the following facilities to offer; a private viewing deck that has sun loungers, stocked mini-bar, tea and coffee station, a safe for valuables, a private walkway to the beach, mosquito nets, overhead fans, and air-conditioning and outdoor showers. Two of the chalets have private plunge pools.

Guests have access to the swimming pool, plus an island bar by the pool area, wifi access in the main area only, a beauty spa, spacious lounge and dining area and a kiosk for guests to buy small consumables and curios. The Dugong Beach experience begins right from the moment guests arrive at the airport, where guests are treated to a short scenic boat transfer to the lodge.

Meals at the lodge are also served from the lovely main deck, this is also a great place to relax throughout the day, and it looks out onto the turquoise waters. Guests can anticipate fine dining with buffet meals and tasty seafood prepared Mozambiquan style. Guests can notify staff of their preferred dining set up. There are other options such as picnics on the island, a la carte menu from the privacy of one’s chalet. Dugong Beach Lodge offers guests several relaxing activities during their vacation. These activities are available in the area; deep sea fishing, diving, snorkeling, kayaking, day trips to nearby islands, sunset cruises and walks on the beach.
