The tour also cover: Maputo central market, Maputo fortress, Botanical Garden, Maputo Catedral, The old mosque, Samora Machel statue, Municipal council and The iron house built by Gustav Eiffel. Learn about the story of Ngungunhane, the king of Changane tribe. His ancestor was a Chaka Zulu general who moved to Mozambique during the Nfecane period and conquered many lands. Ngungunhane was the king of Gaza emperor and is well known for his brave resistance against Portuguese occupation. Unfortunately he was captured and taken to Açores Island where he died. His remains can be seen in the fortress.
