Dolphin Encountours is a very special research/tour company that focuses on funding research and conservation of ocean wildlife through educational swims with wild dolphins. They study dolphins, humpback whales, sea turtles, and other sea animals in the Ponta do Ouro (or Point of Gold) Marine Reserve in Mozambique, a reserve in a sheltered bay teeming with marine life. Dolphin Encountours offers a variety of tours, including small groups, school tours, and more. The tours include a boat trip out to sea and then a snorkel tour with dolphins, as well as a safety and education session to provide information about swimming with wild dolphins. 

The company offers three main tours:
- the 3L Full Dolphin Encounter, for 2 people minimum
- the 2L Mini Dolphin Encounter, for 4 people minimum
- the 1L Casual Encounter, for 5 people minimum
